Our first thought when we walked into the buzzing Conrad Dubai lobby designed with a fusion of Arab and traditional European design, was the service. From the bell boy to the receptionist, it was impeccable even by Dubai’s high hospitality standards. Situated right in the heart of the city and stocked with some of the most exciting eateries, we were looking forward to sampling the quintessential Dubai vibe at this vibrant hot-spot. My friend and I were immediately led to our well-appointed room with all the trimmings a jet setter needs and especially enjoyed the view of old-world Dubai, including the ocean and Satwa, brought to fore the Arab-hued beauty of the landscape. It is rare to see the city without the tell-tale dotting of skyscrapers marring the view of the blue ocean. Our day was packed with the culinary and entertainment hotspots in the hotel. From the stunning poolside bar PureBeach Urban Oasis and Marco Pierre White’s decadent eatery to Izel’s thrumming and buzzing vibe and finally, the unique recovery brunch at one of our favourite spots ever (without exaggeration), the Cave, Conrad Dubai was a whole other world in the heart of the city.
